Full Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: March 13, 2026

Introduction

Welcome to UpPup! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (uppuptreats.com) and the purchase of our products. By accessing our site or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Our Sustainable Mission & Product Nature

UpPup is a mission-driven company that rescues "ugly" and surplus produce from Ventura County and Southern California farms.

  • Variable Aesthetics: Because we use rescued, natural produce, you acknowledge that slight variations in color, texture, or scent between batches are normal.

  • Intended Use: Our products are intended for dogs only as a supplemental treat. They are not a replacement for a balanced diet.

  • Safety Warning: Always supervise your dog when giving treats. Keep packaging out of reach of children.

Health and Allergy Disclaimer

  • Human-Grade Ingredients: Our treats are made with wholesome ingredients, including Xylitol-free peanut butter and no added salt.

  • Allergy Responsibility: It is the customer's responsibility to check the ingredient list for potential allergens (e.g., oats, peanuts, strawberries).

  • Consultation: Consult your veterinarian before introducing new treats if your dog has health conditions. Discontinue use if any adverse reactions occur.

Orders and Pricing

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order.

  • Prices are in USD and subject to change without notice based on seasonal harvest availability.

  • Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments.

Shipping and Delivery

  • We ship within the United States. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or for orders sent to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

Refund and "No-Return" Policy

To ensure the safety and health of all our furry customers, we maintain a strict No-Return Policy on food items.

  • Damaged Goods: If your treats arrive damaged, you must email uppuptreats@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the packaging. Validated claims will receive a refund or replacement.

  • Picky Eaters: We do not offer refunds if your dog does not like the flavor, but we encourage you to reach out for a discount on a different blend.

Storage and Quality Control

  • Store treats in a cool, dry place. Check packaging for best-by dates.

  • Do not use if the product appears moldy or has an unusual smell.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UpPup is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ventura County.
